COVID-19 Policy

What we're doing to ensure your safety.

What you can expect from us

Ensuring our clients have a safe and rewarding experience each time they visit our facilities has always been a priority for us. In the wake of recent events we are now following even more stringent procedures, adhering to government guidelines, to not only help prevent the spread of COVID-19 but also to ensure you can still receive high quality injury treatment in a safe and sanitary manner.

We have outlined these procedures below:

One-Way System & "NHS Test and Trace" App

Upon entry into our reception you will be greeted by a member of our dedicated team, asked to "check in" via the "NHS Test and Trace" app and then accompanied into our clinic. Following your appointment you will be guided through our one-way system to the exit of the building in an effort to reduce the amount of people crossing paths through our corridors and stairwells. Additionally our elevator is still fully available for any of our clientele who are unable to use stairs, however this will now be limited to use by one person at a time.

PPE & Personal Hygiene

All of our members of staff are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to reduce the chance of potential droplet transmission, wash their hands before and after each client and will not be allowed to enter our premises for 14 days if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. Furthermore they will be encouraged to undergo a COVID-19 test as soon as is safely possible.

Routine Disinfection of our Clinic & Building

We have always maintained the highest degree of cleanliness within our clinic and we will continue to fully disinfect our clinic before and after each client. This includes sanitising our massage couch and face pillow (which is then covered with fresh couch roll), desk, chairs, coat hooks, door handles and pen with anti-bacterial spray and wipes. We keep our clinic well ventilated to ensure a consistent air flow and our entire building is also regularly disinfected by our dedicated cleaning and reception staff.

Anti-Bacterial Hand Washing Stations

We have now set up Anti-Bacterial hand washing stations in every section of our building that you will enter, including our reception, clinic, stairwells, elevator and exit. We ask that you regularly use these stations, particularly in our entrance, clinic and exit.

Cashless Transactions

In an effort to prevent contact transmission we ask that you pay for your appointments via card or BACS payments rather than cash.

What we will require from you

As well as making use of the guidelines detailed above, to further help prevent the spread of COVID-19 we will require all clientele visiting our facilities to adhere to the following regulations:

  • Wear a face mask/sufficient face covering item prior to entering our facilities, keep said item on during your appointment and only remove it once who've exited our facilities.

  • As stated above, regularly use our many anti-bacterial hand washing stations, particularly in our reception, clinic and exit.

  • Limit your visit to only person per appointment.

  • Additionally we ask that any clients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms please refrain from visiting our clinic for 14 days.

We would like to thank you for your cooperation and look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Stay Safe,

KS Sports Therapy
